ADOPT

Why Puurrrfect Paws

Puurrrfect Paws Rescue pulls abandoned and stray cats from our local shelter & surrounding shelters in TN & KY. They strive to pull from high kill shelters to help reduce the euthanasia rate. Each cat & kitten goes into a committed foster home, where they get socialization. We make sure our cats are ready for adoption, having been spayed / neutered, age required vaccines including rabies, a microchip, combo test for FIV/FeLV, and any other medical care they need.

What is the adoption process?

The process starts with an online adoption application, even if you don't have a cat in mind, it's the first step! Once your application has been received we start processing it & will reach out via text / email. As an adopter you have the opportunity to set up a meet & greet with adoptable cats & kittens that meet your criteria within our approval. You can also pay the adoption fee & adopt once approved without a meet & greet.

Am I ready?

Choosing to add a pet to your household takes careful research and planning. A pet is a lifelong commitment, Cats can live up to 20+ years, and require regular vert visits & medical needs.
