I found a stray cat, what do I do next?
Please note, Puurrrfect Paws Rescue does not take in strays off the street. We legally pull all of our cats from local shelters once they come off stray hold. Please take any stray cat to your local Animal Control. There they can check it for a microchip in hoping to reunite it with its owner, or after the legal stray hold the cat or kitten will be up for adoption!
I can't afford vetting for my cat, do you help?
Unfortunately, Puurrrfect Paws Rescue, is a self funded 501(3c) non profit rescue. We do not provide vetting services or funding for anyones personal cats. There are many low cost clinics and resources for helping with personal cats vetting needs.
I need someone to foster my personal cat, can you help?
Unfortunately, Puurrrfect Paws Rescue, only provides fostering for cats without our rescue. We do not provide services for "fostering" a personal cat while you move, or are on vacation etc. Please contact a local pet sitter or boarding facility.
I found a cat / my cat had kittens can I foster them for your rescue.
Due to past circumstances we do not provide that type of fostering. All cats would have to be legally surrendered to Puurrrfect Paws Rescue and placed with an established foster in order to be apart of our program. Any strays must legally go through animal control, and then we coordinate to pull once we have a foster lined up.
I applied to adopt, when will I know I f I am approved?
Congratulations on taking the first step to add a new cat or kitten to your home. Please allow 1-3 business days for us to process your application and reach out via text / email.
