Owner Surrenders
Please note, we make NO guarantees to take in any owner surrender. If you need to owner surrender you must fill out our form. If you cannot wait, you can make an owner surrender with your local shelter. It could be weeks or months before we have space for your cat or kitten.
We ask everyone to be honest and forthcoming when filling out the form as we are foster based, and it helps place cats into proper foster homes.
We run off donations, we are NOT a government owned rescue, we do not get grants, or thousands of dollars. Every dollar we have is fundraised, so our intakes are always limited. We focus on shelter cats, but often make room for surrenders.
If you adopted the cat / kitten from Puurrrfect Paws Rescue, Please send us a text / message, as that's a Return NOT an Owner surrender. Per our contract everyone signs, you agree to return any cat you adopt from us & we always take them back.
This form is ONLY for owner surrenders NOT strays! If you find a stray please take it to your nearest Animal Control. Any forms we get for strays we will delete and not respond to.
I adopted and need to return my cat
Owner surrender forms are NOT for returns. Please send us a message, or text your adoption coordinator. You can also reach us via email : PuurrrfectPawsRescue@outlook.com to coordinate the return of your adopted cat. Please be forthcoming for the reason of return, as it's their best chance at re-adoption. Any adoption return must submit and provide updated shot records. If the cat or kitten is not up to date on their vaccines you will be required to get them up to date before we can place them back into a foster home within the rescue.
All returns are scheduled when a foster is available. If you know you are moving do NOT wait until a day before to reach out to us, it is inconsiderate and unfair to the rescue, the volunteers, the fosters and the cat.
