Tallia and Telaya are bonded sisters who have been with the rescue for two years now. They were only a few weeks old when they were found with their three brothers in a trash can and brought into the rescue. These beautiful girls are very sweet with their foster but are still looking for a quiet forever home. Special needs senior alert!

This handsome kitty is Carmine Whiskeretti. He came to the rescue from a high-kill shelter and he is so happy and thankful every day! We never know what kind of lives kitties have lived before they get to us but Carmine definitely did not have an easy one. We knew almost immediately he would need extensive dental work. His teeth were in terrible shape. When the amazing Dr. Baugher was preparing him for his dental procedure, she noticed he was very constipated. Hey, it happens. An x-ray revealed he had old leg and hip fractures which had healed, but had narrowed his pelvic opening. So he gets a bit of medicine every day to keep things moving. The old injuries don’t seem to bother him at all, and no one even noticed anything was amiss until X-rays were taken. Carmine is estimated to be 10 years old, but he is in terrific health now that he had those pesky teeth removed! He eats mostly wet food but enjoys his kibble as well. He does require daily brushing to keep his shedding under control. He may get better at self-grooming, but his mouth was sore for a long time. I suspect it caused him enough discomfort to stop grooming altogether.

Why adopt Carmine? He’s incredibly sweet and loving. He has many years of affection left to give and he’s so appreciative every day for this second chance. Puurrrfect Paws and Dr. Baugher have taken care of the expensive dental work, so you just need to bring the love and a brush! (And a little MiraLax )

About the Soda Shop Litter

Cream Soda, Ginger Ale, Sprite, Dr Pepper, and Sierra Mist are approximately 10 weeks old, have received their first round of vaccines, and have grown up together with the same mama.

They genuinely enjoy one another—playing, wrestling, exploring, sleeping in kitten piles, and doing all the ridiculous things kittens do best.

Because they're already bonded and comfortable together, we would LOVE to see some of these babies adopted in pairs or even a trio. Stormi is an adorable 20-week-old tabby kitten who is currently looking for her forever home! She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable with you, her sweet personality really starts to shine.

Stormi does great around dogs and other cats, although she is definitely an independent little lady and prefers that the other cats keep their grooming to themselves (except for Misty. She’ll let her help with grooming). She enjoys doing her own thing, but once she trusts you, she absolutely loves coming over for some good head scratches and attention.

She is also incredibly curious and loves investigating just about anything lying on the ground or dangling where she can reach it. If there’s something to play with, Stormi will probably find it! She is playful, sweet, and has plenty of kitten personality.

Stormi also loves to suckle on soft blankets and is a big fan of getting cozy. She especially loves a heated blanket, but honestly, any soft blanket will do! Give this girl something fluffy to lay on, and she’ll be happy.

One little thing Stormi is still working on is consistently covering her litter after she goes. This is something that has only recently become an issue and isn’t something we want potential adopters to be discouraged by. She’s still young and learning, and with a little patience and continued guidance, we’re confident she’ll get the hang of it.

Stormi may not immediately be your shadow when she first comes home, but give her a little time and patience, and she will grow to love you in her own way. She is such a sweet, playful girl, and we truly believe whoever gives her a chance will absolutely fall in love with her.

Meet Winston Waterstreet! This dashing tuxedo kitten was found on the side of the road (Water Street, in fact) after a thunderstorm. Winston is approximately 16 weeks old and is wonderfully sweet and loving! He just wants all the cuddles and he’ll chase you around for attention. Winston is maybe a little extra sweet as a result of the extra attention he needed in foster care. His little adventure in the thunderstorm left him weak and sick. RETURN ALERT

Due to unforeseen circumstances Dolly has been returned back to the rescue.

Dolly is a 6 year old retired breeding bengal. Her story is a heartbreaking one. One where the owners knew she has pyrometra and forced her to have kittens, and waited months before they finally got her spayed.

She came into the rescue scared and shy. With love she opened up. Then unimaginable blood coming from her from a severe UTI left untreated because follow up vet visits weren’t a priority for her.

Forced to give birth, forced to live with a deadly disease, never getting treatment for a UTI, then released to a shelter. Thankfully she has received treatment for her UTI.

Dolly will need to be an only kitty, she is ok with small calm dogs. She will need a cat tree that touches the ceiling she can parkour off, and hopefully you’re use to bengals being rowdy and playful because that’s this girl. You must have bengal experience and be ok with yearly vet visits, because ya know, that’s what comes with owning a pet.

Meet Celestite 

Celestite is a beautiful 3-year-old mama cat and the proud mom of our “Gemstones” pack. She came into foster care with four kittens of her own, and without hesitation, she also welcomed three non-biological kittens and cared for all seven as if they were hers. She has truly been the sweetest, most loving mama.

Now that her babies are growing up, it’s Celestite’s turn to be loved and spoiled. She is so ready for a home of her own where she can roam freely, relax, and finally be the center of someone’s world.

Celestite absolutely loves affection. She enjoys being petted and held, and one of her sweetest habits is rubbing her face against your neck while you’re holding her. She is gentle, loving, affectionate, and seems happiest when she is close to her people.
