Sweet Gato is looking for a quiet home with a patient human to love. He was a very scared, very hissy kitten at the shelter, but with the resources of Puurrrfect Paws, he was saved from almost certain euthanasia. He’s still a kitten, at only 10 months old. He would also do well as a companion for an older person as Gato has become very attached to his foster’s elderly father-in-law. He loves to sit in a warm lap and relax. He requires a home with no loud children or dogs, or he will likely become stressed and go into hiding. He gets along very well with other kitties and is extremely food-motivated so he’s easy to befriend. He has a beautiful, soft, shiny black coat and truly is a loving and wonderful kitty.

Nabisco is a 7 month old domestic medium haired female that has grown to love attention. Nabisco was originally trapped in a colony and held for a couple of weeks to determine if she was an adoption candidate. She was not having living near a human and was ultimately returned. At feeding time she would run to be fed but maintained a distance, she slowly became a little less fearful of humans. Nabisco was retrapped when other larger cats would attack her, she had realized that the life outdoors is not for her.

Nabisco has not been around children or dogs and may be best with a family with older children. She loves her wet food, doesn't mind other cats and loves to play and be near you. This girl has made a nice turn around and deserves the life of luxury.

Meet Gizmo! Gizmo is 9 years young and ready to find the perfect home to retire in. Gizmo came to us after being found locked in an RV on the side of the highway, abandoned with his 6 siblings. Gizmo is the last of the group to be adopted. Gizmo has been at the cafe for a LONG time and is now hanging out with a private foster to give him some relaxation from his younger friends. Gizmo loves belly rubs, pets, and to spend time in your lap. He prefers to spend his days sunbathing and enjoying fresh air in a window. He does not like dogs, young children, or young kittens. He would do best alone or with another, calmer cat, so long as he can be alpha. He’s just a sweet old man set in his ways. Gizmo is also 18 pounds and will need a home that can help with his food intake to ensure he gets to a healthy weight. These good looking young men are Muffin (dark gray and white) and Simba (orange). They’re 2 year old neutered males.

They’re both on the shy side, but if you’ll sit quietly in the room they’ll come out of hiding for some attention. Once you earn their trust, they’ll reward you with their affection, including some lap time. Their size is deceptive-they’re both athletic and enjoy running and jumping. They have enjoyed chasing toys and climbing to the top of the cat tree.

Because of their shyness we recommend a quiet home. They’ll hide a bit at first but the more you’re in the room the more they’ll come out to visit with you. They’ve done well with strangers and older children (pre-teen) as long as there’s not lots of noise or big movement. They are not phased by a cat curious/cat friendly dog. They’re great at using litter boxes and scratching posts.

Irene is a lovable baby and enjoys being loved on and will immediately purr with your touch.

Tinky is a 11 month old female that was taken from a TNR colony to be fixed and returned. She showed some very sweet and loving traits to her personality that it was hard to return her to a life outside. Tinky has a very playful personality and too can be very chill and also enjoys the comfort in soft warm spaces; something she was not privy to.

Tinky is fully vetted, has done well with other cats as long as they don't surprise her. She loves the spiral and feather toys the best. She is not shy of a good meal, Tinky would make a wonderful companion. She has not been around small children or dogs.

Meet Alsbet! This gorgeous dark tabby is still a kitten-she’s very playful and energetic. Her age is estimated at only one year, but she’s already a mama. She was rescued from the shelter with her two surviving kittens plus an orphan she adopted. She has big, expressive greenish eyes. She can be a little spicy around other kitties. She gets along but loves to play and can be somewhat aggressive with others. She’s independent but sweet, playful and loving, but she’s not what I’d call a lap kitty. She prefers affection on her own terms. She was a wonderful mama and team-mothered her litter and another, even though she’s quite a young mama. She is looking for a loving home to spend her days playing and lounging. She’ll be happiest as either an only kitty or in a home with another young, playful cat or kitten. Meet sweet Matilda. She is one of three girls in a litter of four. She is about 13 weeks old. Matilda is a little more timid than her siblings. But once you get to know her, she is a little sweetheart. Matilda is very food motivated and loves treats. She’s great at solving puzzles! She loves playing with the track ball toy, jumping for string and feather toys, and running through cat tunnels. Matilda also enjoys getting her beauty sleep in the window seat and loves to hear how pretty she is. She loves being brushed and will lay in your lap as long as you will keep brushing. She has spent time with my dog and while not yet a dog lover she is not at all intimidated by them. She enjoys playing with her siblings and the other foster kittens. She hasn’t spent much time with children and does get a little shy if they get too rambunctious. Although a little timid at first, given a bit of time to get comfortable, this pretty girl is a playful and loving kitty.
