Meet Dottie, this 1 1/2 year old tabby girl has been through it all. From being homeless on the streets, enduring the coldest winter, surviving floods, and watching all of her babies be adopted.

Dottie has regressive FeLV. Our vet thinks she’s a great candidate to fight off her FeLV. With that being said, we are looking for an only kitty home for her. She can be with other FeLV kitties, but if she fights it off we would hate for her to catch a strain and become progressive with it. Also best for her to not to be with other kitties, that don’t have FeLV until she is clear, or if they’ve been treated with the FeLV shot.

Dottie loves toys, all toys, and cat trees, and all the attention. She will be the perfect sidekick for anyone! She is the best cuddle bug, and she enjoys bird watching. Her eyes, although weird looking don’t affect anything for her at all! She lives a happy healthy life, regardless of her being FeLV+. She gets along great with everything in life!

She has a few strong opinions: hooded litter boxes? Absolutely not — she prefers the “open-air” approach and might create a little sandstorm to make her point. People towering over her? Definitely a no-go. She likes her space and appreciates respectful humans and furry friends alike.

Mouse adores her cat tree — it’s her throne, her lookout, and her cozy hideaway. This lovely little tortie is Camilla, and I’m so proud of this girl. She came to the rescue skittish and very afraid of hands. We never know what lives these kitties lived (or survived) before coming to the rescue. It’s taken a lot of love and affection and this precious little lady now follows her foster mama around waiting for love and pets Camilla is looking for a quiet home, and she’d really love to have a friendly kitty buddy. She truly seems to love the company of her foster siblings. She does still get nervous in new surroundings and hands do occasionally frighten her, but she’s come so far! Meet Avah, the sweetest little angel with a heart of gold! This 2-year-old black and white beauty was pulled from the shelter a few months ago, and it's clear she's been given a second chance at a happy life.

Avah is a gentle soul who melts hearts with her affectionate nature. While she's not been around dogs or kids, she's shown to be calm and gentle around friendly cats - as long as introductions are done properly and respectfully.

After a recent health scare, Avah has made a full recovery and is now thriving. She's a foodie at heart, loving her wet food and being a bit of a discerning diner. Hard food is available to her 24/7, although she's not as keen on it.

Meet Liberty, a stunning black and white tuxedo kitty that has beautiful yellow eyes and little white paws. She is a very sweet cat that enjoys pets and ear scratches.

At 4 years old liberty is past the energetic kitten phase but still enjoys some playtime. She is great around kids that know how to handle cats. Liberty loves playing chase with her feather wand toy and laser pointer. She also loves to catch an afternoon nap on the back of the couch or on her cat tree by the window. She dislikes being held for long periods of time but will happily curl up beside you on the couch.

Nesta is a girl kitty with a unique cross between a tuxedo and siamese pattern

Nesta came to us from a Good Samaritan who found her pregnant feral mama and took care of her and her babies until they were old enough to find homes. She has been in the rescue for most of her life and started out shy and scared but she has really come out of her shell! All her siblings have been adopted and she’s patiently waiting! 

Nesta will hide at first until she trusts you, but once she does she will cuddle on the bed with you and give you head butts for affection. She does occasionally give a love nip so no small children. 

She is great with other cats and needs to be adopted into a home where she will have a Kitty Friend, as she will come out of her shell much faster when she sees her humans loving on friendly kitties, and she loves to have cat companionship 

She will need a home where her new humans have patience with her to warm up to them 

She’s Incredibly playful and loves toys, and will chase ribbons and strings or a laser pointer- she has gotten better about being held and will tolerate it but it isn’t her favorite.

He CANNOT go to a home with kids or other pets, and it must be an experienced cat owner that can be firm and give boundaries, but also provide a calm quiet peaceful environment. He loves to be around his human, but does not like being picked up or petted for too long. He can get overstimulated easily. He loves rubbing against you, sleeping on the bed with you, and sitting in your lap.

Mr. Klaus came to the rescue as an owner surrender due to no fault of his own (his family is moving away). This shy, handsome man is almost 9 years old and is looking for a quiet and calm home to spend his twilight years. Klaus is a long hair grey boy who will need brushes and maintenance to avoid matting. Please be aware of this before applying.

Even though Klaus is an older gentleman, he still loves to play, and enjoys catnip applied to his toys. He likes watching the outside activity through the window. He knows and responds to his name, and his foster mom calls him “Klausie”. Once he knows and trusts you, he will follow you around the house, and then sit with you when you settle down. He seems to have arrived with some emotional trauma, so it is important that you are patient with him, and allow him to guide your interactions. He is a big purrer, and constantly rubs against his human. He loves attention, but needs it to be on his terms. He is doing well for nail trims.

Klaus is shy at first and will hide until he is comfortable. Once he has warmed up to you, he is very sweet and enjoys purring, giving head butts, playing with his toys, and curling up on your lap or next to you. This baby, is only 2 1/2 years old. He was adopted as a kitten, and recently returned due to “behavioral issues”. But surprise, we found out, with a quick vet visit, it wasn’t behavioral, he had an untreated UTI. So of course we have started treatment to get him right. 

He is scared and shy and unsure of what’s going on. He will hiss or low growl, but he’s all bark and no bite, because as you see, he just wants all the pets and lovings. This boy loves to roll around and show his belly for pets and lovings, while purring, but also will growl or hiss to show he is still scared. He doesn’t attack, scratch or fight you, he just wants love & comfort, and someone to actually keep with vet visits. 

We’re not sure how he is with dogs or cats , as he hasn’t been around them, but the best home for him is no other pets, so we can reduce his stress levels. The more stress the more likely he is to have another UTI. So a quieter calm home, where he can lounge about and get all the pets and lovings is best for him

Marwa came to the rescue ferociously feral, but like most feral felines, her feistyness was rooted in fear. She is approximately 10-11 months young and is searching for her perfect home. She’s come a long way since her arrival, but this beautiful baby will need someone willing to spend some time earning her trust and helping her acclimate to her new surroundings. Marwa will do best in a calmer home, without loud noises or rambunctious doggos or young children. She was fearful and feral after all, but this is a rescue and we will happily provide tips to help you make her your puurrrfect companion!

Marwa does well enough in a car with her trusted human, but she was not too keen on the ministrations of the kitty doctor. She may need to have medication before each vet visit, which is something her person should take into account before adopting. Marwa has 7 claws on her front left foot, 6 on her front right, and 5 toes on each of her back feet, for a total of 23! That’s 5 extra. Don’t worry, we don’t charge by the toe! Marwa gets along very well with other kitties, when properly introduced. She has not met any doggos yet, but has a sweet temperament and might warm up to calm dogs. She is fully vetted and ready to leave her safe space for a forever home.

Meet Bella CCAS! Bella is a two year old, female Bengal. Bella was an owner surrender to the rescue due to not getting along with other pets in the home. We will be ensuring that she goes to the best home that fits her needs. While exotic pets can be gorgeous and fun, they do have extensive care and guidelines so all applications will be vetted thoroughly. If you do not meet Bella's requirements, please do NOT apply for her as your application will be rejected. It is our mission at PPR to find forever homes for our cats that will allow them to thrive.

Bella is four-paw declawed and will need to be an only pet FOREVER. She does NOT get along with other animals. At all. No matter their temperament. She wants to be solo and gets very hissy and stressed out even by the smell of other animals. In her prior home, this stress caused her to pee outside of the box and not eat. At present, Bella is thriving in her foster home.

Bella will need a home where she can be the Queen of the Castle. She loves to lounge in windows, play with toys, talk to her human, and give headbutts. She does take time to warm up. She is very talkative and will have whole conversations with you. She also will growl like a lion and hiss when she is scared, but she does not bite or attack. She is exceptionally sweet, but very much a kitty who wants to be loved on her own terms.

Bella does not like to picked up or held. She will come to you for pets when she wants them and will even show you her belly and let you give her tummy rubs. However, once she is done being loved, she is done. She will return to her perch and continue to judge the peasants in her life from afar.

Bengals are considered a rare and exotic breed. With that, they do require experience and work. Bengals need exercise, a special diet, playtime, a human to talk to (trust us they are CHATTY!!), and someone who isn't afraid of some hisses and growls from a tiny a jungle cat. If you are looking for a cuddly lap kitty, Bella is not for you. She is an aloof Queen who wants to be looked at and admired. You can pet her on her time. However, once she trusts you, you will be her favorite!

Cotton CuteyPants is a stunning 3 1/2-year-old Turkish Angora with a unique and captivating feature - heterochromia, making his eyes a beautiful and rare sight to behold. This handsome kitty is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention, preferably as the only feline fur baby or with just one feline companion.

Initially, Cotton may take some time to warm up to his new surroundings, but with patience and love, he will blossom into a snuggly and affectionate companion. It took him about 10 days to feel comfortable in his previous home, but once he knows you, he'll be seeking out pets and cuddles in no time. He especially loves to snooze with his favorite humans at night, making him the perfect bedtime buddy.

This gentle soul is not too vocal, meowing only when he's ready for his meals, which makes him a great fit for those who prefer a quieter home.
