Lightning Bug and Thunder came into the rescue as scared feral kittens.

Lightning Bug is now 2 years old and a big boy! He has finally overcome most of his fears of humans and knows we are the food providers and we have the petting hands. He is still a little shy of new people, and sudden movements, but offer him some wet food or temptations treats and he will be your bff for life. He loves to head butt you until you provide pets, make the best biscuits in the world on your leg, and cuddle on his terms.

He doesn’t care for other cats, except his brother, so would need to be an only cat, or be adopted with his brother. His brother Thunder is a sweet boy but still fairly skittish and mostly hides unless there are treats or snacks present. His foster family is loud and chaotic and he would definitely come out of his shell in a quieter home.

Both these big boys are loving and sweet once they trust you, and are fully vetted and ready for their forever homes! These boys would do better in a calm home with no kids, or perhaps a home with older kids would be okay. They’re gentle but nervous of sudden movements. They have not been around dogs but would likely be okay with proper introduction with a calm, older dog, probably not high energy pups.

After being abandoned, and overcoming not only the trauma of abandonment, but also raising a litter kittens in the elements as a single mom, Lorraine is not as eager to trust people as she may have once been. This makes finding a home for her difficult or impossible. Lorraine is a cat who can be seen, but not touched. Despite her understandable shyness of human affection, she’s actually a very social and loving girl. Princess Diana and her kitten, Princess Mary are in search of their perfect forever home

We know that finding a home for bonded kitties is super tough, but we cannot split up this pair. Diana is approximately 2 years old, and Mary’s birthday is April 17, 2023. Princess Diana came into the rescue when a Good Samaritan found her in labor on the streets, she had lost two stillborn kittens already and was at deaths door. She was rushed to a nearby vet who saved her and her remaining five kittens after an emergency c-section and spay, and multiple blood transfusions. She is truly a miracle kitty

Princess Diana (we call her Princess and she answers to it) is a loving and cuddly kitty, who likes to be held and snuggled, and who is a sucker for catnip and wet food. She spent her time recovering from her ordeal and nursing her babies then another 7 orphans that came into rescue

Over time her kittens and her adopted babies were all adopted except Princess Mary (we call her Mary), who cannot be separated from her mama. When she accidentally gets separated from Princess Diana, Mary will cry and cry until she finds her. Mary is a little more aloof than her mama and doesn’t love to be held, but she does love to snuggle at night and she is super playful! Both kitties love to play with fuzzy mice and jingly balls. They cuddle and sleep together, even cramming themselves on a small shelf of the cat tree, and are completely inseparable.

They would prefer to be the only kitties in the home, and do not like dogs.

Due to Princess Diana’s trauma, she doesn’t travel well, and cannot be enclosed in a carrier or kennel. She walks on a leash and harness like a pro and when her foster needs to transport her, she rides on someone’s lap on her harness Their foster is working on training Mary to walk on a leash also (she doesn’t mind the harness!) Both kitties will come to their new home with their harness and leashes. Due to this limitation, their foster is more than happy to bring Diana and Mary to their new home, once approved, or for a meet and greet.

These cute babies came to us as kittens in 2021, they ended up being a foster fail. We get it look how cute they are!! But eventually we saw the old foster giving them away for free on the internet. We eventually got them back, and safe after the efforts of a few good samaritans.

They are both the sweetest girls ever. They love to follow you around, rub on you, get pets, be brushed, and spoiled with wet food once daily. They love cat trees, and watching birds outside.

Meet Amaranth. This chonky lady is just over a year old but she has quite a story and she’s a rescue rockstar. Amaranthe gave birth to her 5 kittens last April, and the whole family was dropped off at her foster’s home that day. As it happens, 2 of her wild siblings also gave birth in the area and soon, folks started wrangling up the kittens. This supermom nursed and raised an additional two litters! Now, nursing so many kittens requires a ton of calories, and she got used to eating quite a lot, especially since food had always been scarce for her outdoors. Fidget is one of the nine cats whose owner recently died. Fidget was taken in by her previous owner as a kitten and bottle-fed, so she has known humans her whole life. She is 3 1/2 years old now. The first night with her foster mom she was so shy and frightened that she hid behind a shelf of books and wouldn’t even let her ears be seen, but by the next afternoon she was coaxed out of her hiding place with some treats and by that evening, came out for pets every time her foster mom came in the room. Look at this transformation y'all! Do you remember Snoopy?? This amazing boy was pulled from the shelter as part of a hoarding case and was malnourished and battling a horrible URI. After just 30 days of proper nutrition, vet care and amazing foster care, our Snoopy is ready to be adopted!

Snoopy is estimated at around 12 years old, fully vetted and is such a sweet, loving boy. He wants nothing more than a human to love on him and he shows his gratitude with head bumps to beg for even more attention. Meet Allen Poe, a 5 month old fully vetted kitten ready to puur his way into your heart. A real hisses to hugs story. AP for short was one of 5 kittens that was trapped living under a home with his mom. The mom was fixed thru the TNR process and returned. AP's brothers were very well socialized and was able to be adopted out to loving homes. AP did not want the attention and love his brothers were receiving, he consistently would growl, hiss and cower to the back of the kennel. It was decided that AP too needed to be TNRd and returned to his mom outdoors where he may be happier, thus his eartip.

The day arrived to return him to his birthplace, a then hissy growly kitten decided a life indoors was a better place to be. AP has completed a 180, he now runs up for attention, he let's you know he is happy with his ginormous puurs and biscuit making. He doesn't mind others cats and would love to have a friend to play with. You will often find him curled up next to you or laying on your pillow, he definitely now appreciates and loves his human and indoor life.

What’s better than one bestie for life? TWO!

This is Fluffy & Puffy. Puff it the top (on both pictures) and Fluff is on the bottom!

We’re sisters and often get nicknamed “the twins” because the only difference between the two of us is a few small spots on our face and back.

We’re both SO social. We love cuddles. We love playing. We love kids, we love other cats too. Some would even say we are the sweetest cats to EVER EXIST!

We are about 6 months old at this point, but small for our age. Although we love being around each other, we can be adopted together, or separately.

We have not been around dogs yet, but I’m sure given the right kind of family, it wouldn’t be hard for us to learn to love them too

Does your fur baby need a playmate? Want company but not "in your face" kinda kitten? Meet Riley! Riley is approx 4 months little boy that was part of TNR (trap/release program). Riley is very playful and has transitioned really well into inside life. He loves playing with kittens and adult cats while he is figuring out this "how to cat" thing. Riley is shy now, still building trust with people, so would want a home that is patient with him as far as being cuddled. He currently likes to walk around people, just short of hands reach, while he is building confidence. He is curious and likes to observe all activities. He wants to be social so much. He REALLY likes temptations treats and all kinds of toys for interactive playtime while he learns people are safe. Riley is not reactive at all, only shy/timid in new environment.

Chickpea Heitts is a spayed and vetted girl, around 4.5 months old. She is white with black and brown spotting.

A cruel human being abandoned her and her brother on the doorstep of a retiree, and she remains small for her age due to long-term malnourishment.

Sweet and easy going, she longs for a friend. Her buddy, her brother, passed away a few weeks ago due to human neglect. She would do well in a home with a confident kitten playmate or older cat, and has been exposed to children and well-behaved dogs.
